Soori Bali

A coastal resort linked to local landscape and ceremonial routes.

The project, in context

SCDA’s architecture and landscape respond to Bali’s climate, rice-field drainage and village customs. Paths preserve access to the beach for local ceremonies, while planting and building form help mediate the transition between rooms and the coast.
