GAD / GLOBAL ARCHITECTURE DISCOVERY
Architecture is worth understanding.
An independent place to discover architecture, understand its makers and follow the ideas behind the work.
Look beyond the image.
A striking photograph is an invitation. We want to help you go further: who designed the building, what decisions shaped it, how the practice works and what an architectural award actually recognises.
GAD connects practice profiles, project studies, award guides and clearly attributed rankings in an English–Chinese reference library. We are building a useful starting point for architects, designers, students and anyone curious about the built world.
Independent by definition.
Global Architecture Discovery is an editorial and reference platform. It does not offer architectural design services and is not affiliated with the practices or award organisations it covers. Projects belong to their credited designers and photographs to their credited creators.
A library that can grow carefully.
This first edition includes 52 practices, 108 projects and 8 award programmes. It is an editorial selection, not a claim to cover every practice or outstanding building in the world.
