Jianfa Yunzhicheng

The project

Above the Shuangpu metro depot, Yunzhicheng uses a park-facing retail street to connect transit, gardens and homes. The mixed-use development combines residential buildings with shops, schools, a neighbourhood center and public green space. The U-shaped commercial street opens towards the park; its upper level meets the residential entrance level, joining everyday journeys with places to pause. The initial residential base and retail street have been presented as the first delivered elements of the wider development.
