Quzhou Youth Football Training Center

The project

At the foot of Lingjiu Mountain, seven pitches and two buildings form a center for around 200 young footballers in residential training. The architecture concentrates changing rooms, equipment storage, fitness and study spaces below accommodation and operational offices. A raised main volume reduces its footprint and keeps views and routes open across the grounds. The arrangement retains parts of the existing tree cover and connects the pitches through a flowing landscape.
