What qualifies
This track is defined by built work and a documented relationship to Chinese architectural culture: courtyard space, garden relationships, material and craft traditions, heritage care or contemporary reinterpretation. It is open to designers of any nationality. Motifs alone do not establish eligibility.
Start with specific works
Compare the courtyard sequence and reclaimed brick at Tsingpu Yangzhou Retreat with the spatial memory of Shanghai lanes at the Waterhouse. These are research cases, not an announcement that their authors have passed every annual-ranking requirement.
