Building / AWARD GUIDE

RIBA Stirling Prize

RIBA’s annual prize for an outstanding contribution to architecture in the United Kingdom.

What it recognises

A building award selected through the RIBA awards process. Use the official year and winning project when comparing recipients; a shortlist place is distinct from winning.

Awards may recognise an individual, a building or a practice. Recognition of a founder is not an award for every project produced by their firm.
