GAD / PERSON PROFILE
Stuart Gardyne
Stuart Gardyne built his professional foundations through commercial work at Structon Group after graduation.
Background & practice
Stuart Gardyne built his professional foundations through commercial work at Structon Group after graduation. The NZIA's 2015 Gold Medal citation connects this experience with later thinking about how buildings are occupied, how workplaces are organised and how design is realised. It emphasises purposeful professional development, practical experience and a readiness to make consequential decisions. His career is presented through architectural judgement and delivery knowledge rather than a catalogue of stylistic signatures.
