Pat Hanson is the founding principal of gh3*, an architecture and urban-design practice that brings infrastructure, landscape and the public realm together. The RAIC's 2026 Gold Medal profile discusses Borden Park Natural Swimming Pool and Toronto's Stormwater Facility as projects in which technical systems become part of civic experience. Her work uses an interdisciplinary studio to address institutional, infrastructural and residential programmes while making environmental processes visible within everyday urban life.
