Where it fits
An office or room program needs an early capacity check, with the ability to accept, reject or undo changes.
What goes in
A brief, attached context and a project model with room names and constraints.
What comes out
Space-program drafts, model actions and layout suggestions with furniture counts when available.
How to read the capability
Hypar’s own guide rates room layout as a weaker task than program creation and counting. Its suggestions can fit a room or expand it. Inspect that choice: enlarging a room to fit furniture changes the area budget and may displace a neighboring space.
Limits to keep in view
The vendor says program results can be incomplete and model edits unpredictable. An apparent seat count does not establish accessible circulation, comfort or egress compliance.
A practical evaluation checklist
Specify departments, occupancy and shared-space rules; compare every requested item against the generated schedule.
Keep the room boundary fixed for one test, then allow expansion in a copy and compare the total area.
Check door clearances and circulation on a plan; test undo before applying larger sets of model changes.
